Is lip gloss considered a liquid?

I'm going on a plane soon, and i cant figure out if a lip gloss is a liquid. i dont think it is but when i tried a google search, nothing came upIs lip gloss considered a liquid?

last time i flew i just stuck it in a zip-lock bag and it was fine. if you dont have any other liquids in a bag just stick it in your pocket when you go thru the security check.
Look at your lipgloss. It will tell you how much there is.

By the way: what does this have to do with going on a plane?


They'll let you go on a plane with lip gloss, no matter what substance it is, lol.
You are allowed to carry lipgloss, lipstick, powder, brushes, ect on a plane as long as you place them in a clear quart sized bag. Usually at airports they will provide you with one if you don't have one. Most lip glosses are under 5g, so you should be fine!

Yes it is. You will need to put it in your 1 quart Ziploc bag for the the security checkpoint. I have never seen lip gloss sold in containers larger than 3 oz. so you should be fine.
yes lipgloss is a liquid but it dusnt matter if it is under 100 ml which it probably is if its a normal sized lipgloss tube.





Then u have to put it in a clear plastic wallet/ sandwich bag and have it out of your bag at customes to show the checkers.





By the way i don't know if this applies to all countries but i know it definatly duz in the uk i have just recetly been on holiday.
the plane should let u have your lipgloss, as long as it is a small container. i suggest not bringing it it if its expensive because i know that all airlines vary. but they should let u bring it :D
Good question. Well, I never really thought of that. Just put it in a ziploc bag just in case. I think that's what they make you do, right?
I sometimes put it in my 1-qt bag and sometimes forget - but I've never been stopped because of it. It can't hurt, of course, to put it in your plastic bag. No matter what the TSA website says, anyway, enforcement varies by airport and officer.
I think the limit for liquids is 3 ounces, and that'd be a bunch of lip gloss. So you're probably fine.
