Lip gloss or lipstick - which do you prefer?
When I'm working out, I'll just put on some chap stick. For everyday, I'll use lip gloss. If I'm going out to a nice place for dinner, I'll put on some lip stick and then a little lip gloss over it. If I'm going somewhere dressy, I'll just use lip stick. Overall, I like lip gloss better.Lip gloss or lipstick - which do you prefer?

Is lip gloss considered a liquid?

I too have to agree, juicy is by far the best! It is super glossy, but not so sticky that your hair sticks to it. (which if you have long hair, you know exactly what I mean!) It is around $17 a tube (in NY) and you can buy it in a clear gloss, or you can buy it in tinted shades too. Give it a try, I am sure you will love it!
MAC lipglass
MAC lipglass or lustreglass! You can't go wrong. They cost around $15 and they are great because if you want gloss, they really make your lips look like glass, hence the name. Also, the colors, depending on the kind of gloss you get, have little particles that make your lips shimmer. I love ornamental and decorative. Ornamental is a orangish/golden color that looks great alone or on top of red lips. Decorative is great if you want a darker tone. It's a purple tone with shimmer as well and goes great with black, as well as with gold jewelry. Check it out in the store. If you go to the MAC makeup website, you won't be able to really see the true colors, the page really makes their collection look horrible. So, my advice, go to the MAC counter!
I like Lancome Juicy Tubes. Just the right amount of gloss and it isn't thick and sticky.
I also love DKNY's lip gloss (DKNY Be-licious Lip Gloss)...it smells SOOOO good, just like an apple and it feels really good on my lips.

They had chistmas flavored ones like, candy cane flavor, chocolate, gingerbread man, and other kinds but i forgot. They also have chocolate shampoo, which is so cool (bought some myself)

It's the BOMB!) and then use some of the Beauty Rush products from Victorias secret. Or the Very Sexy lip glosses, those are great too!

i usually wear gloss a light color like pink tho. i have pretty fair skin and bangs so if i want to look fancier i wear this bright red gloss stuff from MAC but its not lipstick its gloss but its like as bright as lipstick but i prefer gloss

I get it at beeroyalproducts.com they also have this one called lip tox sheer but it is a combo plumper, but anyway it has real diamond dust in it. If your into the plumper thing that would be cool to have real diamonds on your lips. I use that one occasionally just as a gloss and to make my lips more noticeable like when going out (I already have plump lips LOL).
try avon flavor savor lip gloss. i have been using it for years and it is the best out there. when you are looking for anything to do with makeup, avon is the way to go. it is cheeper and better than the department store stuff. I don't sell avon but its all i use.

i've tried almost every thing the best i've come across n sticking too is Blistex daily lip conditioner itz got a lovely vanillalish scent to it n tastes sweet on lips.. plus contains collagen which kinda plumps your lips up n other ingredients to make them soft, supple and youthful,.. basically very kissable lips lol... you can get it from boots or super drug i think.,,. it comes in a lil pot for about 拢2.50 at most.. p.s. forgot to mention it's not sticky and leaves your lips feeling naturally bare and beautiful.. u can add on your lippy stain or lip stick as u wish 4 color.. hope this was of some help..

It moistooriez your lips causing the color to last longer and be smoother. i dont know if i helped. my favorite brand is sally hassen lip gloss and the bath and body ones.
I love the line at Bath and Body Works called Liplicious. They make it in all different colors and flavors, ranging from hot cake scented to frozen blackberry (my favorite). Since the semi-annual sale at BABW is on now you may be able to find them on sale!

umm i use vaseline, or medicated lip balm, b/c lipstick makes my lips less moist and very dry and with lip gloss it just makes your lips glossy for the time being and thats it, then it makes you look like a shiny red apple, so to have nice moist lips use vaseline, lip balm, or chapstick

umm i use vaseline, or medicated lip balm, b/c lipstick makes my lips less moist and very dry and with lip gloss it just makes your lips glossy for the time being and thats it, then it makes you look like a shiny red apple, so to have nice moist lips use vaseline, lip balm, or chapstick
i almost never wear lipstick, but i have a cool chapstick that has a red tint to it, so i apply that and then i aplly clear lip gloss, and it looks so pretty!

Try to find something else to do, like always tend to curl hair on the finger ect. eating lip gloss would usually not harm any problems, but jiust incase, you have to stop, it's not healthy.
Maybe buy lipgloss that has terrible taste that way when you eat it, you wouldn't like it, and then you would stop.
But that is just my idea of what I would do.

I don't think it can harm you because if you think about it, having it on your lips, there's a SMALL possibility of it getting into your mouth.. haha. But I am sure EATING it isn't exactly good for you. I would stop buying lipgloss and throw it all away, and stick with eating food. :D

How do i do a subtle pretty smoky eye when i wear light pink lip gloss? i have hazel eyes?
okay i got some eyeshadow at walmart, its four different shades of grey. so i'd get something like that.
first line the lid (as close to the lashes as possible) with the darkest color.
then put the second darkest color on your entire lid, and i like to put a shimmery color over that to make it stand out, then you put a light color under the brow.
then you should try using a more clear gloss with this look.
thats what i do, and it looks fine.
but if you want a smoky eye that you can wear pink gloss with then try going for dark browns.
brown and pink go amazing together.
put a sandy color on your entire lid, line your eyelid with a darker brown, and put some brown eyeliner on, then put a shimmery color, and sweep it underneath the brow.
and there you go, a smoked out eye, that is sure to match your hazel eyes perfectly, and it even goes with the gloss.
just make sure if you want to go with an eye that pops, try a more subtle lip.

Ingredients:
1 ounces beeswax beads
1 ounces shea butter
3/4 ounce borage seed oil(
you can use a less expensive oil such as sweet almond oil. Borage seed oil is the most moisturizing oil that we carry.)
1 teaspoon colored jojoba beads (optional)
Essential Oils 鈥?see below
Utensils needed: 8 ounce glass measuring cup, teaspoon measuring spoon, stainless spoon or wooden coffee stirrer and lip balm jars or lip balm tubes.
Put the beeswax beads, shea butter and jojoba beads in glass cup and melt in microwave. Be sure to microwave at 50% and 30 seconds at a time, stirring each time. When melted add oil. Microwave a little more if oil congeals mixture. It is important when working with a shea butter product not to get it above 160 degrees or it gets gritty Stir and add borage seed oil. When the mixture has cooled a little, add essential oil(s) and pour into containers. When cool, label your products.
Minty suggestions:
陆 teaspoon peppermint essential oil
or
陆 teaspoon spearmint essential oil
or
陆 teaspoon peppermint and 录 teaspoon wintergreen essential oils
Lavender/Lime 鈥?add 1 to 2 teaspoons essential oil blend 鈥?equal parts
For a softer lip balm, add another 陆 ounce of borage seed oil and/or omit jojoba beads.
Our natural lip balm tubes with the teal caps look really nice with lagoon green jojoba beads for a minty lip balm. You can see the lip balm color thru the tube.
if you want to make soap, go to michales, they have everthing you need; moldings etc.

gentle face srcub
need: 3tbsp ground almonds, 3 tbsp medium oatmeal, 3tbsp powdered milk, 2 tbsp powdered rose petals, almomnd oil, mixing bowl, spoon, lidded glass jar
directions:combine all ingreditents in bowl (except almond oil). store in a lidded glass jar. take a handful each time you use it , put it in a mixing bowl and pour a little bit almond oil. when ready to take it off, rinse splashes of warm water. this will make 10 treatments.
night cream:
need: 2 oz jar of unperfumed base cream w/ a lid, 3 drops of rose essential oil, 2 drops of frankicense essetial oil, 1 drop of jasmine essential oil
directions: add the oils to the cream %26amp; mix well together. apply to skin before bedtime
geranium body lotion
need: 6 fluid ounces of unsented body lotion, 15 drops geranium essential oil
directions:
mix oil and lotion throughly, then pour into a bottle with a lid
citrus body scrub
need: 3tbsp freshly ground sunflower seeds, 3tbsp medium oatmeal, 3 tbsp flaked sea salt, 3tbsp finely grated orange peel, 3 drops grapefruit essential oil, almond oil
directions: mix all ingreedients except almond oil then store in a lidded jar. each time you use it apply a little almond oil to make a thick paste, wet skin, then rub onto skin.
You can make a really nice lipgloss by taking a nice lipstick.. Cutting a chunk of it off
and mixing it with vaseline :)

That doesn't really make sense. Unless your lip gloss is getting on your chin it wouldn't have any effect. If your breakouts are localized to your chin it is more likely caused by resting your chin in your hand while sitting or from your phone. Be conscious of not touching your face more than necessary and regularly clean phones and other things that frequently touch your face. you could find out if you stopped using it for awhile. but if you have acne on your chin or anywhere else i recommend you use lemon. i've used it and helps a alot. just recently i soaked a cotton ball with with fresh squeezed orange juice and rubbed all over my face because i have oily skin and i noticed that it helped the couple o f pimples i have and my face looks clear after 2 days. you might want to try one of these out and see which one works best for your acne and that way you don't have to get rid of your fav lip gloss.

No chicky the lip gloss wouldnt be giving you pimples.
Dont touch your face with your hands, unless they have been washed first.
Pimples are caused by a build up of dirt, oil and bacteria (your hands carry millions of bacteria %26amp; germs). If you have large pores the dirt %26amp; oil %26amp; bacteria fester under the skin %26amp; turn into a massive pimple.
Other than that it would be your hormones too.
Make sure you wash your face morning %26amp; night %26amp; moisturise with an oil-free moisteriser.
Try going to a beautician as they can analyse what skin type you have and can recommend you the right face wash for your skin type.
If you dry your skin out too much (by using the wrong face wash or toners) then your skin will produce more oil to compensate for the moisture that has been taken from washing. This results in an over production of oil and can also give you more pimples.
When I was 17 I went onto a contraceptive pill call Diane (there are other names for it : Juliet, Estelle) which works as the normal pill only it stops you from getting pimples.

I don't think lip gloss has anything to do with it, unless you are a really bad aim and apply it on your chin! It might clog your pores then....but other than that, I think you are safe with your gloss. Just wash your chin and use acne med, and you should be fine!

That doesn't really make sense. Unless your lip gloss is getting on your chin it wouldn't have any effect. If your breakouts are localized to your chin it is more likely caused by resting your chin in your hand while sitting or from your phone. Be conscious of not touching your face more than necessary and regularly clean phones and other things that frequently touch your face. you could find out if you stopped using it for awhile. but if you have acne on your chin or anywhere else i recommend you use lemon. i've used it and helps a alot. just recently i soaked a cotton ball with with fresh squeezed orange juice and rubbed all over my face because i have oily skin and i noticed that it helped the couple o f pimples i have and my face looks clear after 2 days. you might want to try one of these out and see which one works best for your acne and that way you don't have to get rid of your fav lip gloss.

No chicky the lip gloss wouldnt be giving you pimples.
Dont touch your face with your hands, unless they have been washed first.
Pimples are caused by a build up of dirt, oil and bacteria (your hands carry millions of bacteria %26amp; germs). If you have large pores the dirt %26amp; oil %26amp; bacteria fester under the skin %26amp; turn into a massive pimple.
Other than that it would be your hormones too.
Make sure you wash your face morning %26amp; night %26amp; moisturise with an oil-free moisteriser.
Try going to a beautician as they can analyse what skin type you have and can recommend you the right face wash for your skin type.
If you dry your skin out too much (by using the wrong face wash or toners) then your skin will produce more oil to compensate for the moisture that has been taken from washing. This results in an over production of oil and can also give you more pimples.
When I was 17 I went onto a contraceptive pill call Diane (there are other names for it : Juliet, Estelle) which works as the normal pill only it stops you from getting pimples.
id think so, cause when i wear lipgloss i get pimples around my lips. and it gets all greasy
I don't think lip gloss has anything to do with it, unless you are a really bad aim and apply it on your chin! It might clog your pores then....but other than that, I think you are safe with your gloss. Just wash your chin and use acne med, and you should be fine!

Hope this is enough for you. I use this brand exlusively. If you ever need a deep dark serious 40's style red lipstick try their ';drop dead red'; excellent for formal, or informal. Never goes out of style. Hope this helps.
btw: they ship 4 free, made in USA, and they don't test on animals - a must for me. ;)

But, lip gloss is so common it really isn't that big of deal. However, if one would like to kiss a lip-gloss wearer, perhaps they might not like having sparkles on their lips after the successful completion of said kiss. Cause then their friends will make fun of them.
